Luis Díaz remains determined to leave Liverpool this summer and hopes Bayern Munich will make a new offer in the coming days to try to convince the Premier League club, a source has told ESPN.

Liverpool already rejected an offer valued at €67.5 million ($78.5m) last week, but a source has told ESPN that the Bundesliga club is preparing a new offer of around €70m plus add-ons.

Bayern have identified the Colombia winger as a priority signing, having previously been interested in Athletic Club's Nico Williams.

Liverpool remain firm in their stance that Diaz is not available for transfer in this transfer window, although he only has two years left on his contract at Anfield.

On Monday, the club agreed a deal worth up to £79m for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike.

The deal could spell the end of Darwin Núñez's Liverpool career.

The Uruguay forward, who scored a hat trick in a 5-0 friendly victory over Stoke City on Sunday, has been heavily linked with a move away.
