Irish Breakdown continues our summer look at 2025 Notre Dame football opponents on today's show with Texas A&M insider Carter Karels. The former Notre Dame reporter joins IB's Sean Stires to discuss where things went wrong for the Aggies at the end of 2024, what quarterback Marcel Reed might look like this season, the biggest questions for TAMU on each side of the ball entering training camp and more.

They have paid him $17,898,723 for him to NOT PLAY the 2000 season and they will pay him another $10.7 million-plus over the next 10 years. Is there a better retirement plan than that?

* Today is also the unofficial day Sports talk radio was born in 1987 as WFAN debuts in New York City on 1050 AM…becoming the country’s first 24-hour all-sports radio station. A little more than two years later they launched a show known as Mike and the Mad Dog. Mike Francesa and Chris "Mad Dog" Russo.
