Towns McGough FG attemptAuburn went 11 periods during its practice Thursday morning — with several long periods of skele competition. The defense made more plays in coverage. The defense also had the run game on lock. A team period ended with a sack from freshman Bryce Deas off the edge.
The offense will have a chance to redeem itself Friday. Coach Hugh Freeze says they will scrimmage then.
