Mizzou Receives Commitment From Local Legacy Class of 2026 Offensive Lineman

The Mizzou legacy hails from Booneville, Missouri, with plenty of ties to the team.

The Missouri Tigers have added another name to their growing list of 2026 recruits with the latest being three-star offensive lineman Braylon Ellison. Ellison is a Boonville, Missouri, native and has plenty of ties to Mizzou.

Ellison is the No. 1,426 player in the country, according to composite rankings. He also comes in as the No. 117 player at his position and he's No. 15 in the Show-Me state. Ellison took his official visit to Mizzou from June 6-8.

The 6-foot-4, 285-pounder joins three-stars Khalief Canty Jr. and Brandon Anderson as interior line pieces to the 2026 class. This is also the second in-state commitment the Tigers have landed after four-star linebacker Keenan Harris committed back in May.

Ellison is a Mizzou football legacy, too, as both his father and brother have worn the black and gold.

His father, Atiyyah Ellison, formerly played on the Missouri team and now holds the position of Director of Player & Alumni Relations on Missouri's staff. Atiyyah also competed in the NFL for six years as a defensive lineman.

Braylon's brother, Tyson, was a two-year member of the team as a walk-on linebacker.

Ellison is the Tigers’ ninth commit, joining the O-line alongside Anderson and Canty, as well as quarterback Gavin Sidwar, running back Maxwell Warner, wide receivers Devyon Hill-Lomax and Jabari Brady, tight end Isaac Jensen and linebacker Harris.

There are still lots of commitment decisions on the way, with eight announcements coming over the next 10 days. The time for the Missouri coaching staff to bulk up their recruiting class is now.
