Caitlin Clark Flexes Sophie Cunningham, Indiana Fever's Win Without Saying Anything

Caitlin Clark did not exactly deliver a mind-blowing performance in her second game back following her lengthy injury absence. However, the recently crowned WNBA All-Star Game captain did enough to help lead the Indiana Fever to a much-needed bounce-back win against the Atlanta Dream on Friday night, 99-82.

Clark, who shot just 4-of-12 for 10 points in Wednesday’s 80-61 blowout loss against the Golden State Valkyries, played better against Atlanta. She still struggled with her shot, going 5-of-17 for 12 points, but Clark was able to dish out nine assists, to go along with four rebounds and a three-pointer in 26 minutes of action.

It was the Fever’s other two All-Stars, Aliyah Boston (19 points, six rebounds, career-high eight assists) and Kelsey Mitchell (25 points, three assists), who went off to lead Indiana to a statement win.

Shortly after the final buzzer, Clark took to Instagram to flex the Fever’s 17-point victory.

Clark did not have any caption in her Instagram story. She simply shared the Fever’s post, which featured Sophie Cunningham as the cover photo.

Cunningham had an incredible night against the Dream, dropping a season-high 16 points off the bench with 10 rebounds, an assist, a block and four triples. It appears that Cunningham's big game has gotten Clark's stamp of approval as well.

Up next for the Fever is a highly anticipated clash against Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings on Sunday. All eyes will be on Clark and Bueckers as these two young stars finally get to face off at the WNBA level for the first time.
