76ers reportedly shopping $10 million veteran center

The NBA offseason is in full swing, and for the Philadelphia 76ers, that means an opportunity to reshape the roster for the 2025-26 season.

So far have made some notable moves including extending Trendon Watford to a two-year, $5.3 million deal, along with drafting Baylor guard V.J Edgecomb with the No.3 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. Now it appears the team may be looking to parting ways with one of it's backup centers.

According to Tony Jones of The Athletic.,The 76ers are reportedly trying to trade veteran big man Andre Drummond.

"If I were a Philly Sixers fan, I would be looking out for Andre Drummond,” Jones posted on X. “The Sixers have been trying to move him over the last 24 hours. Let’s see if they get it done.”

Drummond appeared in 40 games for the 76ers last season while  Joel Embiid missed majoirty of the year due to lingering knee injuries. He proved to be serviceable in Embiid absense, averaging 7.3 points per and 7.8 rebounds.

Philadelphia reportedly picked up Drummond's $5 million player option but he could be moved in the trade to clear up space for Quentin Grimes who impressed after arriving in Philadelphia.

Elsewhere,Guerschon Yabusele has signed with the New York Knicks, meanwhile both Eric Gordon and Kelly Oubre Jr., have picked up their their player options.

With the 76er looking to return to prominence next season it's likely the team would make more moves this offseason.
