Yankees' Aaron Judge ties Alex Rodriguez in franchise home run history

Aaron Judge continues to move up New York Yankees record boards.

The latest spot he occupies is shared with Alex Rodriguez.

Specifically with the Yankees, A-Rod hit 351 home runs.

On Sunday, Judge went deep in the first inning against the Braves to give himself 351 career homers, all hit for the Yanks.

They're now tied for sixth place in Yankees history for homers, per NY Yankees Stats.

The top five:

  1. Babe Ruth, 659
  2. Mickey Mantle, 536
  3. Lou Gehrig, 493
  4. Joe DiMaggio, 361
  5. Yogi Berra, 358

Judge should pass Yogi and DiMaggio before this season is done.

And if he stays healthy, Judge should have a chance in the future to move even higher up the list.

The first order of business, though, is to hit one more home run and move past A-Rod and alone into sixth place on this Yankees homer leaderboard.
