The White House released a fact sheet with details of its trade deal with China, including China lifting export restrictions on rare earths minerals and restarting the flow of chips used by the auto industry.
China will issue general licenses valid for exports of rare earths, gallium, germanium, antimony, and graphite for the benefit of U.S. end users and their suppliers, the fact sheet said, ending controls China placed on the materials this year.
In addition, China will resume trade from Nexperia’s facilities in China, where chips critical to the auto industry are made.
