Negotiations between Atalanta and Inter Milan for Ademola Lookman are reportedly not progressing as expected.
According to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, Inter see La Dea’s request to get Francesco Pio Esposito as a provocation.
Therefore, the deal is currently on hold.
Despite Lookman’s desire to move to San Siro, Atalanta have no intention of budging on their valuation of Lookman.
Indeed, Ivan Juric’s men are holding out for a substantial €50 million price tag.
Meanwhile, Inter offered €40m, only to receive an immediate rejection.
Inter Milan & Atalanta Put Ademola Lookman Talks on Hold

Ademola Lookman remains Inter’s top target, with the Nerazzurri pushing hard to get a deal over the line.
However, Atalanta proved to be stubborn negotiators during last summer’s talks with Juventus for Teun Koopmeiners.
Based on that experience, Inter would be well-advised not to hold their breath.
Indeed, there’s a feeling that the Nerazzurri can either meet Atalanta’s demands or walk away.
Yet, La Dea’s attempt to drag Francesco Pio Esposito into negotiations didn’t sit well with Inter.
Therefore, discussions are currently on ice.
