France star Antoine Griezmann was delighted to see his compatriot Léo Bamballi join the Juventus U20 squad, as proved by a social media comment.

Juventus announced Bamballi’s move from Olympique Lyon earlier this week and his transfer to Turin excited Griezmann.

Bamballi is a versatile 17-year-old defender who can play as a right-back or as a centre-back.

As revealed by Tuttosport, Griezmann’s sister Maude is the agent of the promising defender who has signed a contract until 2027 at the Allianz Stadium.
