The Los Angeles Lakers have an intrigue-filled Summer League roster.
There's Bronny James, the No. 1 scorer in college basketball (Eric Dixon), a son of a Hall of Famer (Augustas Marciulionis) and more.
One name that was unexpected: Darius Bazley.
Bazley was the No. 23 overall pick in 2019 out of the G League.
He was originally committed to play college basketball at Syracuse but instead changed paths before he got to campus.

Bazley is a 6-foot-8, athletic lefty who has averaged 6.9 points per game in 237 NBA contests.
He has spent a lot of time in the G League in recent years after Oklahoma City gave him heavy run early in his career.
He'll be a longshot to make the Lakers, but they're giving him a shot. He certainly has talent.
It'll be interesting to see how many minutes he actually gets in Summer League. That could be a hint to how much the Lakers want to see from him and if he has a real chance to make the team.
