Inter Milan pushing hard for Ademola Lookman in the transfer market!

Ademola Lookman

Ademola Lookman has vanished. He hasn’t shown up for Atalanta’s last three training sessions. Inter Milan, already having reached an agreement with the player, is preparing a third offer in a bid to seal the transfer this week. Will the Bergamo club finally let go of the African Ballon d'Or winner?

The Nigerian international is waging a real battle against Atalanta to secure a move to Inter Milan this summer. Ademola has even handed in an official transfer request after the Bergamaschi rejected the Nerazzurri’s €45 million bid. The former Leipzig striker is pulling out all the stops to force the club’s hand. For several days now, Lookman has been boycotting Atalanta’s training sessions and failed to appear at Zingonia despite being summoned. The player has also erased all references to the Bergamo club from his social media and removed any photos of himself in La Dea’s shirt from his Instagram profile.

A €50 million offer to convince Atalanta?

Ademola Lookman has reached the point of no return with Atalanta. Since Monday, the Nigerian international has been conspicuously absent from Zingonia despite repeated summons from the club’s management. Inter Milan is closely monitoring the situation without rushing things. The Milanese directors know that the player’s determination is their trump card in these tense negotiations. Giuseppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio are considering a new proposal worth €50 million, potentially including a promising youngster from Inter’s Primavera squad.

Inter Milan has set a 10-day deadline to receive a definitive answer. If the deal collapses, the Nerazzurri will turn their attention to other targets such as Chelsea’s Christopher Nkunku, Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho, or RB Leipzig’s Antonio Nusa.
