Certain former NBA players have continued to discuss Giannis Antetokounmpo in a strange way.
That continued earlier in the week when former NBA veteran, and 2003 NBA champion with the San Antonio Spurs, Stephen Jackson, suggested that he needs to leave the Milwaukee Bucks.
Jackson isn't the first former player to make this statement, and he’s expressed similar sentiments in the past. However, this time, he noted that Antetokounmpo doesn't want to be in Milwaukee, which is a surprising statement considering the Bucks star has never publicly expressed that.
"Once they traded Middleton away, that's when things started going downhill," said Jackson on the "All The Smoke" podcast. "He was a big part of what they did. He had got hurt and missed a little time out. They played better a little bit without him, then they got rid of him. They've been going downhill since."
Perhaps Jackson knows something that nobody else knows, but nothing has suggested that Antetokounmpo wants to leave the Bucks.

Until that becomes the case, continuing to discuss his potential trade is a moot point.
Antetokounmpo has continued to prove that he wants to stay in Milwaukee, and all of his actions have warranted that.
It'll be interesting to see how things play out with this new look, Bucks, but there's reason to believe he's happy, so Jackson is likely better off not continuing to run with these comments.
All sign points to Antetokounmpo staying in Milwaukee, which has continued to be the case over the past few years.
