Bronny James finally breaks silence on LeBron trade rumors, is dad leaving Lakers?

As always, there is tons of drama surrounding LeBron James. This season, it seems like LeBron trade rumors are louder than ever. The Los Angeles Lakers are preparing to build around Luka Dončić. It is unclear what LeBron actually feels about this, but he has made it clear that he is not sold on staying a Laker forever. That’s why when Bronny James addressed the rumors about his dad, everyone listened up. 

“There’s a lot of stuff going around that I don’t really pay attention to,” said Bronny when asked about the LeBron trade rumors going around. 

Bronny remained non-committal during the rest of his interview. He included that he and his dad “don’t really talk about it much”. 

While everyone is trying to get an inside scoop on what LeBron is thinking, it seems like even his own son doesn’t know. It must be an awkward situation to be in for Bronny. He is just trying to stay in the league (where he probably only is because of his dad), and all anyone ever wants to talk to him about is his father. 

If there does end up being a LeBron trade, Bronny James’ future on the Lakers is probably in jeopardy. Maybe LeBron can help get him to his next team, but maybe not. 

Bronny averaged 2.3 points per game last season on terrible shooting efficiency. He is still young, but he has yet to prove that nepotism isn’t the only reason he is in the NBA.
