Heidenheim evidently feel comfortable giving the former Germany U20 international a chance in the German top flight. Veteran FCH keeper Kevin Müller enjoys solid status with his longtime club and even recently signed a contract extension, yet could be willing to take a back-seat at the age of 34. Plettenberg claims that Heidenheim have made up their mind. Completion of the deal hinges on Dortmund.
Ramaj actually worked in the Heidenheim academy from 2018 onwards and made FCH head coach Frank Schmidt’s matchday squad on three occasions before transferring to Eintracht in the summer of 2021. Ramaj ultimately made his professional debut with the SGE.
